These pics were originally posted at MTBR by an engineer that worked with Jim Busby who was the lead suspension guy on GT's product team. I actually got to ride an 18" version of this bike back in May of 94 . Had gone out to Huntington Beach for the GT international distributors meeting (when they show all the next years model samples) and went for a ride early one morning before our meetings started with Pete Garski who at the time was part of the product team before shifting to international sales. Got to go in a room loaded with one off neat bikes and actually pick the bike I wanted to ride for the day. Being from the Midwest and already enjoying a Xizang I naturally picked the Ti fully LTS. We had a blast riding that morning and I even took an over the bar crash on a monster nasty decent with the bike. He told me this one eventually got "cut-up". Many of you have seen the LTS tandem with dual rear shocks that has been listed on ebay a couple times the past couple years. That was another bike that was in the room filled with one-off development bikes.

en gros, c'est un distributeur de GT qui est allé a un meeting de distributeurs organisé par GT pour essayer des velos. Dans le hangar a velo, il y avait ce titane tout sus. Comme il aimait le Xizang, il a pris celui la. Il l'a testé et ils 'est meme baché avec dans une descente. Cela faisait partie des velos "de developpemen" par nécéssairement passé en production comme par exemple le tandem LTS a deux suspensions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

en resume , c etait un examplaire unique qui a ete detruit apres les test , trop cher a fabriquer .

Qui est le con qui a détruit un exemplaire pareil, un titane ne se détruit pas, il se transforme en un objet intemporel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roll:

Un jeu de pedalier MERLIN NOS (il manque un roulement) avec sa notice de montage.
Il est dans mon garage depuis 1.5 ans :oops:

Deux axes : un acier et un TI
Axe de pedalier pour boite de pedalier avec les deux encoches pour maintenir les deux circlips.

C'est le boîtier qui équipait les Merlin d'avant 91 : un boitier de pédalier spécial ressemblant à celui des klein ou Fat Chance ;-)

vous pensez que c'est possible d'accoupler par exemple un Xizang et un LTS par 2 - 3 combines... si c'est possible je me le fais fabriquer. Kris le rouge peut être?????

la partie avant... Skyde,
l'arrière, faut chopper et démanteler un LTS
