Have been searching for a nice gold USE seatpost but they don't seem to come up too often , or even a black syncros.........but 26.6mm is a hard size to find and the suntour XC post is all I had .

Good luck riding with this shit, that piece of crap almost killed me when I rode them on the Southern side part of Mt Ventoux.

Never had such bad brakes, even an oldy but goody pair of Acera cantis does the job better.

And you hands don't look like sweaty and soary butts after 200 Km road bike.

(by the way, I just registered on Retrobike.com, is there any introduction room anywhere like we have the mandatory introduction post here ?)

The thing is that on retrobike we understand that most retro parts that were expensive are generaly just really expensive crap  , :-k you only have to look at kooka, cooks or grafton cranks, they all break eventually & pauls, precision or rhino rear mechs worked really badly too but we still want them because thats what we lusted over back in the day, no matter how sh~t we know they are today.
